Biography of Bishop Sandy T. Burks Bishop Sandy T. Burks a native of the city of Philadelphia, PA. Bishop Burks’ began his ministry under the spiritual guidance of Bishop Charles E. Williams, the presiding prelate of the United Evangelistic Churches, Inc. From his trial sermon, it was completely evident that Bishop Burks was anointed to preach the Gospel with fire, passion and conviction. As he matured in the gospel, he received his formal theological training while studying at Central Urban Theological Studies (CUTS), Liberty University and at Living In Favor University (LIF). He also attended Christian University in Raleigh, NC and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Word of Faith Christian College Graduate School, Riverdale, MD. He is engaging and part of the Intensive Courses studies with the graduate school of Episcopal Studies at Word of Faith Christian College. His intellectual and revelatory scriptural knowledge along with his approach of the Word of God, stimulates the intellect of all people on all levels of life; crossing both denominational and social barriers. This visionary and prolific man of God started his pastorate in 1995 at the United Evangelistic Church, Southern District in Henderson, NC.  In September 2001, Bishop Burks was led by the Lord to establish the New Restoration Community Church, Inc in Henderson, NC. ("The Church Where God Is Restoring Back to His People.") His ministry uniquely promotes restitution, reconciliation, deliverance and healing to a dying world. The Lord has allowed Bishop Burks to not only impact his immediate community, but the Lord has allowed Bishop Burks to preach the Gospel domestically and internationally. He has traveled extensively throughout America, the Caribbean, and to Europe preaching, blessing and healing a nation through the Power of God. The bible reads in Psalms 104:4, "Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire. Bishop Burks has an unquenchable anointing from God that consumes the enemy's kingdom which causes captives to be set free. His ministry is affectionately known as the Praise Power and Deliverance Ministry.  Bishop Burks is the husband of Elect Lady, Minister Gina Burks and to their union God has blessed them with a son, Stephon T. Burks.  Bishop Burks was an optician by trade. He has served as the President of the Evangelistic Department of the South East Progressive District of Church of God In Christ (COGIC). He is currently serving on the Vance County Adult Literacy Board, the Vance-Granville County Board of Health and the Vance County Zoning Board. He is has also served as 2nd Presiding Assistant of Greater Harvest International Fellowship of Churches, Raleigh, NC. He served as the Chaplain/Apostolic/Treasure for the International Alliance of Bishops (IAB). Bishop Burks has many credentials that speak to his anointing, gifts and talents, but greatest testament is his uncompromising walk with the Lord.  Bishop Burks’ primary focus of ministry is to reach the lost "by any means necessary." He is both committed and dedicated in perpetuating the gospel. He firmly believes that Christ is his message and souls are his mission.
